There are more than 90 species of Rhodiola in nature, but only Rhodiola rosea contains rosavins – the compounds with the most beneficial effects on our health and nervous system. Many “golden root” plants available on the market are other Rhodiola species without rosavins.

Our plants are grown using organic methods in a northern climate; they are hardy and free from agricultural chemicals. These plants have been cultivated with care, not obtained by destroying the last endangered golden root populations in the Himalayas or Altai Mountains. 70% of golden root products on the world market are obtained through illegal exploitation of protected wild populations. Plants are shipped exclusively from Latvia.
Delivery periods: April 20 – May 20 and September 1 – November 1.

    Lady’s mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris) is one of those plants to which we owe the fact that we are here today. Our distant great-great-great-grandmothers knew how to use lady’s mantle correctly. It is no coincidence that this plant is dedicated both to the pagan Latvian goddess Māra and to the Virgin Mary. Lady’s mantle helped women survive, eased childbirth, and helped them remain strong and pretty  even in later life. It is truly a woman’s herb.
